Cabin baggage rules

All passengers according to Bees Airlines fare policy are allowed to take on board 1 item of hand baggage up to 7kg and parameters 55x40x23 cm for free.

In case if passenger’s carry-on exceeds the allowed limits, it should be accepted for transportation as a checked-in bag in accordance with the fare policy and baggage transportation.

Additionally, passengers can take on board free of charge their personal items that they will need during the boarding/flight/deboarding. These items are:

  • small ladies/man bag or laptop bag;

  • coat or jacket;

  • food for baby (only traveling with baby/babies and if this food is needed during the flight with total weight not more than 5kg and dimensions 30x40x20 cm);

  • one pack of goods sold in Duty-Free and packed properly (in a security tamper-evident bag with the receipt inside).

Hand baggage has to be placed on a shelf for carry-on or under the seat of the front passenger.

Excess Carry-On Luggage Policy

Passengers are allowed to bring one piece of carry-on baggage weighing up to 7 kg and measuring 55x40x23 cm in addition to the free baggage allowance based on their fare type and travel class, subject to an extra charge.

Additional carry-on baggage can be purchased for a fee of 30€*. Please note that this service is available exclusively at the airport during the check-in process. The payment must be made at the airport in the national currency of the country of departure, based on the prevailing exchange rate on the date of payment.

Transportation of Diplomatic Bags in the Aircraft Cabin

Diplomatic bags can be carried in the cabin without the need for an extra seat reservation or additional charges, as long as their size and weight do not exceed the free carry-on baggage limits. Any diplomatic bag that exceeds these dimensions or weight limits will require an extra seat reservation and payment of the corresponding ticket fare. Please refer to the "Extra Seats for Cabin Baggage" section for more details.

Checked Baggage

The checked baggage allowance varies depending on the fare type and travel class. Passengers on Bees Airline flights are entitled to check one piece of baggage up to 23 kg and linear dimensions of 158 cm at no extra cost, starting from the Comfort fare and above. Additionally, passengers may check certain items they may need during boarding, deplaning, or the flight itself, free of charge.

These items include:

  • Baby bag (for infants traveling) – 1 piece up to 10 kg.

  • One child stroller or safety seat.

  • One wheelchair for passengers with special needs.

Excess Checked Baggage

Passengers have the option to check additional pieces of baggage that exceed the free baggage allowance associated with their fare type and travel class.

Additional pieces of checked baggage, up to 23 kg 30€

  • Maximum weight should not exceed 23 kg

  • Maximum linear dimensions should not exceed 158 cm

Additional pieces of checked baggage, up to 32 kg 50€

  • Maximum weight should not exceed 32 kg

  • Maximum linear dimensions should not exceed 158 cm

Overweight checked baggage, per kg 5€

  • Applies to each kg above the weight limit

  • Overweight should not exceed 9 kg

  • Maximum weight of one piece of baggage should not exceed 32 kg

Oversized checked baggage, per piece 50€

  • Linear dimensions should be from 158 cm up to 330 cm

  • Maximum weight should not exceed 23 kg
