Traveling with infants under 2 years old (exclusive)
Infants younger than 7 days old cannot be accepted for travel.
Infants can either travel as lap infants or in a car seat by purchasing a separate seat at the children fare. If you are traveling with two infants, it's essential to book a separate seat for one of them, where they will use a car seat. Please note that Bees Airlines does not provide car seats, so you must bring your own.
The car seat should not exceed the size of a regular passenger seat in the cabin and should fit within a 42x42 cm space.
Ensure that the car seat is equipped with seat belts, in good condition, and undamaged. Additionally, it must be certified and approved for use in an aircraft, with a visible label or marking indicating its approval for air transportation.
Infants are allowed one checked bag up to 10 kg and can bring food and other necessary items in the cabin, with a maximum combined weight of 5 kg and dimensions of 40x30x20 cm.
You can bring a child stroller of any type free of charge.

You can either hand over the child stroller during the check-in process or hand it over to the gate agent just before boarding. If you choose the latter option, the stroller will be returned to you at the aircraft door upon arrival at your destination.
Traveling with children aged between 2 and 12 years old (exclusive)
Children in this age group require their own ticket and are subject to applicable child fares based on the chosen travel class. They should have a separate seat during the flight.
Baggage allowance for children is subject to the airline's general baggage policy.
When traveling as part of a group, at least one adult must accompany every 20 child passengers.
Unaccompanied Minors
All children from 5 years traveling alone have to be traveled as unaccompanied minors. For minors with disabilities, an unaccompanied service isn’t available.
The Unaccompanied Minor service is not applicable to children under the age of 5.
A fee of 60€* applies for the Unaccompanied Minor Service.
When traveling from Romania, Romanian citizens under the age of 18 (exclusive) at the start of their journey are considered unaccompanied minors, in accordance with Romanian legislation. For more detailed information, please visit the Romanian Border Police website. Children under the age of 12, at the beginning of their journey, traveling alone to Romania with Romanian citizens are considered unaccompanied minors. For those aged 12 to 18 (exclusive), the unaccompanied minor service is available upon request from a parent or legal guardian.
For domestic flights within Romania, the unaccompanied minor status applies to Romanian citizens under the age of 12 traveling alone.
Foreign citizens under the age of 12 at the start of their journey, regardless of the flight destination, are considered unaccompanied minors. The unaccompanied service for children from 12 to 18 (exclusive) years can be provided upon request by a parent or legal guardian.
NOTE!
Starting from August 20, 2023, Romanian citizens who have reached their 16th birthday may leave Romanian territory unaccompanied, but only under specific conditions. Please refer to the Romanian Border Police website for further details.
Parents or guardians must ensure the following documents are prepared for the child's travel:

A valid travel passport (with the required entry visa for international flights) or a valid travel passport (with the required entry visa) or birth certificate for domestic flights.

A ticket.

Any additional documents as required by the departure or destination country.

A notarized letter of consent from parents permitting the child's international travel.

The Unaccompanied Minor Handling Advice Form should include details about the persons who will accompany and meet the minor, as well as information about the minor's parents or guardians, including their addresses and telephone numbers. This form can be completed at the check-in desk at the departure airport. It is crucial to ensure that the information on the form matches the person's details meeting the child at the destination. Any discrepancies between the details provided on the form and the actual person meeting the minor at the destination will lead to the immediate return of the minor to the point of origin for their journey. Parents or legal guardians will be responsible for covering any additional costs incurred as a result of this return.

The person nominated in the Unaccompanied Minor Handling Advice Form to meet the minor at the destination should provide proof of identity.

Parents or guardians should remain at the airport until their child's flight has departed.
Ensure the fee payment and service have been confirmed by the carrier.
*The Unaccompanied Minor Service fee should be paid at the airport in the national currency of the departure country at the exchange rate effective on the date of payment.
